1/13/2023 0 Comments Unknown computer in my networkI will consider changing my WiFi network password and reconnect all my devices from scratch and see what happens. Under >System Preferences >Sharing my computers name is Airwalker-MBP.local. ![]() I wonder if this is the PC showing on my network? No MAC number on the scale neither and it does not show up in AirPort Utility once connected to the network. local (the same device thats showing in >Finder >Network). There is no MAC number on the One Connect Box.Īnother device I have connected to my WiFi network is a WiFi enabled scale from Garmin. I have a Samsung One Connect Box, but I hardly doubt, that this device, which is a media receiver with a built-in tuner connected to my Samsung TV, is shown separately from my Samsung TV on my network as a PC, since I believe it has no WiFi. I recognise all my devices, that are connected to my WiFi network in AirPort Utility: MBP, 2 iPads, iPhone, all my Sonos devices and my Samsung TV shown as Samsung TV or TIZEN (description changes once in a while). When you recycle power on your router, the devices just reestablish the connection. After another 10 minutes it also showed under >Finder >Network. It may be a network-enabled device in your home, such as a television, Blu-ray player, game console, printers, etc that has joined your HomeGroup. After about 10 minutes, it showed up again in AirPort Utility as 2B79E5000000.local, but was NOT visible under >Finder >Network. Thanks guys! This morning, when I turned on my MBP, the PC shown on my network last night, wasn't there anymore.
